The African tribe with the tallest people in the world
Imagine walking in a community where being tall is the norm. That's everyday life for the Tutsi.
They are referred to as some of the tallest people in the world and primarily reside in the African Great Lakes region, particularly in Rwanda, Burundi, and parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This fascinating group of people hold a remarkable record: the Guinness World Record recognises them as the tallest African tribe.
The Art of All They Do
A world of infinite desires in finite time and space For a thousand years, the Japanese have been working on a problem that Americans are only now beginning to see: How can you make a culture of congestion work, and turn constriction to advantage? The main cultural myth of America centers on infinite space, limitless resources, and the energies they foster. Without these, such diverse cultural emblems as Moby Dick, ’50s tail fins, westerns and the paintings of Jackson Pollock would not exist.
The Inimitable Jack Paar - Top 10 Jay Leno Moments
Jack Paar Johnny Carson's predecessor and the second host of The Tonight Show was known for speaking his mind. In 1960, he quit the program in the middle of an episode because one of his jokes was censored. "There must be a better way to make a living than this," Paar huffed. (He returned a month later after a sobering realization: "Well, I looked ... There isn't.") So it comes as little surprise that Paar was a controversial guest.
The Instigators Review: Matt Damon and Casey Affleck Arent Half-Bad as Blue-Collar Ac
In previous years, a star-driven, Doug Liman-directed caper would surely have propped up the summer box office, whereas this Apple original gets a cursory theatrical release en route to streaming.

TIME for Thanks: Here's What Gary Sinise Is Thankful For
Family above all else – it’s the thing that keeps me grounded, connected. I look to my family for strength and support– my wife, kids, and even my Mom and Dad who I’m blessed to still have around. Their love and support all these years means the world to me and it’s truly the thing that counts most at the end of the day. At the same time, I’m thankful for the service men and women who put themselves in harm’s way in service to our great country.

On this day, July 23, in 1984, then-21-year-old Williams handed over her crown — making her both the first black Miss America and the first to give up the title — after Penthouse announced that it would publish raunchy photos she had posed for two years earlier while working as a photographer’s assistant.
